The gumball machine
You open Claude or ChatGPT. You type a prompt. You get something useful: maybe a draft, maybe an idea. You close the tab. Tomorrow, you start from zero.
Nothing is saved. Nothing is trained. Nothing is connected. Every prompt is a fresh start. There’s no compounding. No infrastructure. No leverage.
And when you hit a ceiling, the default is the same as it’s always been: hire another person. More overhead. More management. More complexity.
